Off season rate weekday special, $150 all day, open to close, based on availability. 

1. What is required to rent a golf cart?

- Current proof of auto insurance

-25 year old driver with a valid drivers license

-debit or credit card to put on file 

-anyone wishing to drive the rental must meet all of the above requirements 

2. Can I drink on the golf cart?

Absolutely no alcohol on the golf cart. Passengers may not carry alcoholic beverages. DWI laws apply to drivers and no alcohol should be consumed prior to driving the cart. 

3. How old do you have to be to ride in a golf cart?

there is no minimum age to ride, however if an infant or child  is required to be in a carseat or booster seat in a standard vehicle, they are required to be in a carseat or booster seat on the golf cart. As a courtesy we offer a limited number of both.

4. Where can I drive the golf carts?

golf carts are treated as vehicles on Galveston Island, just like cars. They are not permitted on the sidewalks. We will go over all rules and regulations as well as provide each renter with a map.  For additional information click on the link to our city ordinance below.  Golf carts are not allowed on the beach on the East end of the island where we are located. Our carts are not allowed on the beach. A $500 fine will be assessed by Beachin Rides and a $500 citation will be issued by the city. 

5. How are carts secured for overnight rentals?

a locking boot device will be provided at the time of rental for all overnight rentals. Boots must be securely placed on the cart at the end of the day.
